Auto Show

On Saturday, Della and I went to auto show with my mom. There were a lot of really cool cars. Some were old and some were low. Della danced at the auto show. It was a lot of fun!

Mardi Gras Parade

Della, mommy, daddy, and I walked in a Mardi Gras parade. We went with Della and my ballet folklorico dance group. It was fun! There were a lot of people. We threw candy and beads.

Avery enjoyed The Body Exhibit so much, we decided to return to The Science Place at Fair Park with some friends. They have a fabulous hands-on children's section where visitors can be firefighters, mechanics, actors, farmers, palenetologists, etc... Mom enjoyed the action and wanted to share a few pictures.

The Incredible Human Body Exhibit

I went to the incredible body exhibit. I did lots of cool things! They were very interesting! I had lots of fun!

911 Call Center

Last Sunday, my Tiger Cub den went to the 911 Call Center for a field trip. We earned another achievement bead. We learned about the people who can help us, like firefighters and police officers. We were amazed!

DEAR Day

This is DEAR Day. We Drop Everything And Read. It was fun. We read lots of cool books. We have guest readers. I love DEAR Day because we

wear our pajamas to school.

Mt. St. Michael Soccer

This was the first year that I have played soccer. It was very fun. I played defense. A lot of my friends play soccer also. Our mascot is an eagle. My jersey number was number 1. I can't wait until the spring, because that is when we will start playing again.

All Saints Celebration

Della and I liked the All Saints party. It was fun. Della dressed as St. Terese and I dressed as a shepard. We got lots of candy! At the All Saints party, we saw a lot of our classmates.

Alegre Ballet Folklorico

My little sister and I dance with Alegre Ballet Folklorico. Ballet folklorico is traditional Mexican dancing. There are many different dances and costumes in ballet folklorico. This is a picture of Della in her Veracruz costume. Della is a great dancer!

Tiger Cubs

This is me in my Tiger Cub uniform! I love being in Tiger Cubs! It is the best! I get to do a lot of fun things with my friends. We learn something new each time we meet. We even go on field trips. My dad is our den leader. He is also my Akela. That means adult partner.

My Family

Della and I have the best mom and dad ever. They love us very much! My mom helps us with our homework and my dad plays with us. We enjoy doing things together. We go to church together and we read together. I love my family very much!

My dog Mandi!

Della, my little sister, and I have a dog named Mandi. She is the best dog in the world. She is cute and cuddly. We really love to play with her. One reason why my mom and dad like her is because she is teaching us responsibility. I have to feed her and Della has to give her water. We don't mind a bit. We love Mandi!
